    World News with Charles Gibson (previously known as World News Tonight, often called ABC World News Tonight, also often abbreviated as WNT, and known as World News on weekend editions) is the flagship ABC News program of the American Broadcasting Company television network in the United States.

  • BBC World News

    BBC World News is the BBC's international news and current affairs television channel. It has the largest audience of any BBC channel and any news channel in the world. Founded in 1991 as BBC World Service Television outside Europe (the name was changed to BBC World in 1994 and to BBC World News in 2008), it broadcasts for 24 hours with programming including BBC News bulletins, documentaries, lifestyle programmes and interviews. Its main global competitor is CNN International, though it also competes with other major news broadcasting companies. It employs more correspondents and reporters than any other news channel and has more international bureaus. It is the world's most watched news channel, ahead of CNN, and also one of the most watched channels in the world.

    CNN World News, a program that airs on CNN International. It is supplemented by World News Asia, and World News Europe. The show's traditional time run is 30 minutes, although it runs to up to 45 minutes if it is followed by CNN Marketplace Middle-East. The show's regular presenters include Rosemary Church, Isha Sesay, Jonathan Mann, Hala Gorani, Ralitsa Vassileva, Brooke Baldwin, Andrew Stevens, Anjali Rao and Max Foster. Its main role is to update viewers of the latest news in the world. It contains a weather update from the CNN Weather Center. CNN World News can usually air up to three times on weekends.

    The News of the World is a British tabloid newspaper published every Sunday. It is published by News Group Newspapers of News International, itself a subsidiary of Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation, and can be considered the Sunday sister paper of The Sun. The newspaper concentrates on celebrity-based scoops and populist news. Its fondness for sex scandals gained it the nicknames "News of the Screws" and "Screws of the World". With sales averaging 3,445,459 copies per week in October 2006, the News of the World is the largest selling English-language newspaper in the world.

    World News Australia is the news service of the Special Broadcasting Service. Its flagship nightly bulletin is at 6.30pm, in addition to weeknight 'late' bulletins at 9.30pm. World News Australia is currently presented by Lee Lin Chin, Anton Enus, Janice Peterson, Ben Fajzullin, Neena Mairata and Rena Sarumpaet.

The monthly magazine which had a circulation of 50,000 stopped publication of its print version on its 30th anniversary in April 2004 with withdrawal of Stanley Foundation and instead put its focus on the electronic version.
